What This Course Is About

Overview

Generative AI tools are now within reach of every employee, and most people using them have never been told which data is safe to paste into one. That gap is where data protection incidents begin — not through malice, but through an ordinary person trying to work faster.

This short course closes it. It explains how generative AI actually works, the data protection risks that follow from that, which types of data can be transmitted to these tools and which must be anonymised first, and why the accuracy of any result needs to be treated with caution rather than trust.

Content is delivered through text, videos, and interviews with experts, and finishes with a quiz and a digital certificate. The whole course takes 15–20 minutes, so it works as a practical briefing for a whole organisation rather than a training commitment.
