What This Course Is About

Overview

Prevention depends on people being able to recognise the behaviour, understand where the line falls, and know what to do next — whether it happens to them, in front of them, or is reported to them. This series covers each of those positions in turn.

It begins with the foundations: understanding harassment and discrimination, what constitutes sexual harassment specifically, and the four forms it takes along with their consequences. From there it becomes practical — what to do if you are being harassed at work, how bystander intervention works, what supervisors are responsible for preventing, and how complaints should be received and handled.

Each course module averages 20 minutes to complete and includes a post-assessment. Application Activity forms let participants apply the learning to their own scenario and environment. The format is video and text-style self-paced e-learning with self-reflection activities throughout, making it practical to roll out across a whole organisation.
